Four Mast Foundation – Dade City, Florida

Complex foundation were installed with no train traffic downtime.

CSX installs a four mast foundation supplied by American Concrete Products near Dade City, FL. Due to the fact that the foundation is made up of components weighing less than 4000 lbs. each, they were able to be assembled with the use of a small truck crane. Once assembled, this 32,000 lb. foundation accommodates a cantilever signal to be installed over series 3 railroad tracks. This installation was completed in less than 8 hours, resulting in no overtime for the crew and no downtime of train traffic for the Class I Railroad.
